HICKORY – The Hickory Police Department will host its “Halloween Fly In” at the Hickory Regional Airport on Oct. 15  from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.  There will be food trucks and free candy for children 12 and under wearing a costume.  An array of agencies including Civil Air Patrol, Med Center Air, and the US Military will be present.  In addition to the Hickory Police Department and Longview Police Department, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol motorcycle unit, US Forest Service, and NC Wildlife and Resource Commission will be at the event.
