In partnership with the City of Hickory and the Footcandle Film Society, Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics is partnering with the City of Hickory to host two Saturday Screenings in October. Families are invited to enjoy free screenings of Top Gun: Maverick on Oct. 7 and Hocus Pocus on Oct. 28. The outdoor screenings will take place at 8 p.m. in Moretz Stadium at Lenoir-Rhyne University, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the screenings will be moved indoors to the Shuford Arena at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Concessions and games will be available before each movie begins. Audience members are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on the field. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
