Hey, I’m BILL NOWLIN…you may know me as Wild Bill. I’ve been on the air for more than 40 years keeping listeners entertained throughout the day. And I’m proud to say, 27 of those years have been at Curtis Media Group’s Foothill Radio Group serving Lenoir, Morganton, Hickory and the entire Catawba Valley.
You can find me every weekday hosting the midday show on KICKS 103.3 with today’s hottest country and the songs that got us here. When I’m not on-air I’ve written and produced hundreds of commercials over the years that tell the important story of scores of businesses in the Catawba Valley.
I love being out and about in the community for live remotes and tons of community events like Fairs and Festivals as a Master of Ceremonies. It’s been my honor to introduce National Country Music Stars to the thousands of people at the Annual Historic Morganton Festival for 15 years.
I was proud to have been nominated for the Country radio Hall of Fame in Nashville.
