A Morganton man was arrested after a high speed chase in Burke and Caldwell counties. Jason Ali, 40 was arrested after fleeing on foot and hiding in a creek off Clarks Chapel Rd. The truck Ali was driving had been reported stolen from T and T Automotive. Ali was charged with felony speeding to elude arrest. Bond was set at $25,000.
