A stolen vehicle was part of a high-speed chase that stretched from Catawba to Burke county yesterday. A white Ford pickup truck stolen from Lee Industries collided with another pickup truck near Blackburn Elementary. The News Herald reports the driver of the stolen vehicle was taken to prison while the driver of the other truck was taken to the hospital.
