The Caldwell County Health Department has started vaccinating people age 65 and older for COVID-19. While vaccinations are given by appointment only, they are happy to add your name to the waiting list. To sign up for the waiting list, visit vaccine.caldwellcountync.org. Or, if you are 75 and older, call (828) 426-8486. Please note, these phone lines are extremely busy, and you may not get through on the first try.
Catawba County is also making appointments for the Covid vaccine for those over 65. The web address is www.Catawbavaccine.org or call 828-695-6650.
