$15,000 Bond
Bond was set at $15,000 bond in a Morganton arrest. Joshua Ray Hughes 28, was arrested by the Morganton Department of Public Safety. He faces felony possession of controlled substances, larceny and larceny by changing price tag.
Total Loss
A home was destroyed by fire in Burke County over the weekend. Firefighters from Brendletown, West End, Salem, Glen Alpine, Dysartville, Nebo, Triple Community and the Burke County EMS responded to 5040 Rainhill Church Road. The fire
