A murder charge has been filed in Burke County. 56 year old Rodney Howard Sanders was arrested by Burke County deputies in connection with the shooting death of Brandon Chase Jones. He was pronounced dead at a Royce St residence. Sanders is held without bond in the Burke County jail. A first court date is set for October 21st. The investigation is ongoing.
