Court dates are set for today for 2 individuals after a body was found. 46 year old Donna Lorren Hagy and 41 year old Dwayne Alan Smith are charged with felony destroying a body/remove conceal unnatural death. It is in connection with the murder of 56 year old Howell Thomas Buchanan Jr, whose body was found in a well off Old NC 18 on Monday. He had been missing since August 12th. Investigators believe the person who killed him died a few days later. Buchanan is thought to have been dead for a few months. Smith is under a $75,000 bond, while Hagy is under a $50,000 bond.
