An attempted murder charge was filed in Hickory. 45 year old Christopher Randy Rutledge was arrested by Conover Police. He faces felony counts of attempted 1st degree and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $750,000 bond. A court date was set for November 9th.
