The Burke County School Board appointed a new member at last night’s meeting. Seth Hunt is replacing RL Icard who died last November. The vote was 4-2. Hunt will be sworn in today. The board also voted on mask use which resulted in a 3-3 tie. Masks will remain optional in Burke County.
