NC 127 will be closed this weekend. City Walk contractors will be removing the debris from the wooden arches of the Rudy Wright Bridge. The road will be closed from 1st Ave NE to 1st Ave SE from 6pm Friday through 6am on Monday. After the area is clear, the NC Department of Transportation will inspect the Main Ave bridge before reopening. The public is urged to exercise caution in the area.
