I-40 and the US 321 interchange will have nightly closures this week. The NC Department of Transportation announced that crews will be replacing bridge joints with work expected to be complete by May 26th. Detour signage will be in place. The nightly closures will be from 9pm until 5am. Drivers in the area are urged to slow down and use caution.
