SEPTEMBER IS BEING RECOGNIZED AS FIRST RESPONDERS APPRECIATION MONTH

RALEIGH – On August 31, Governor Roy Cooper signed a proclamation identifying September 2022 as “First Responders Appreciation Month”.  In a Sept. 9, 2022 press release Governor Cooper said, ““I’m grateful for our first responders who act quickly in life-threatening situations to help people when they need it most,” Governor Cooper said. “As we head into hurricane season and even face the possibility of some coastal flooding this weekend, I appreciate knowing our courageous first responders are always ready to save lives.”
