Contractors working for the City of Lenoir plan to pave three streets around town next week. Contractors will pave Swanson Drive from Norwood Street to Central Drive, Ronquil Park Place, and Stage Street. The paving company plans to start on Swanson Drive on Tuesday, Nov. 1, weather permitting, and then move to Ronquil Park Place and Stage Street. Contractors will have one lane at a time closed during paving, but residents and the public will be able to access the roads. Paving should be completed in a week, barring any unforeseen problems or delays.
