Hickory Business Furniture was evacuated on today around 11AM because of a fire in the building. Hickory Fire Chief Jeff Barger said the fire was extinguished and employees expected to be allowed back to work. Thankfully there were no injuries or terrible damage to the building. The fire was caused by broken equipment at the business.
