ACE Animal Care has a new Facility that will open January 23rd

The Caldwell County Animal Care Enforcement (ACE) will unveil its new facility with a dedication ceremony on January 21st at 10 a.m. The Director of ACE, Richard Gilliland, stated in a press release that the new facility will provide more space for animals, an area for cats to play, additional office space, among other features. During the opening ceremony, visitors will have the chance to take a tour of the facility, which includes indoor/outdoor kennels, communal rooms for cats, rooms for introduction and socialization, and a grooming room. Hart’s General Store and Creamery will provide coffee and treats, and the first 100 guests will receive an ACE t-shirt. Attendees are asked to park at the Caldwell County Health and Human Services Building, and a shuttle will transport them to the facility. They are also requested not to bring their pets to the event, and adoptions will not be conducted during the grand opening. The current ACE facility located on Fairview Drive in Lenoir is closed this week, January 16th-20th, for staff to move into the new building. ACE will reopen at the new location on January 23rd.
