The Catawba County Sheriff’s Department reports arresting three people earlier this week after the vehicle they were riding in was seen as suspicious and acting in an erratic way. The report states the traffic stop occurred on Houston Mill Rd. around 4pm Tuesday. A drug sniffing dog was brought to the scene, where authorities seized 39 grams of Fentanyl, a small amount of what is thought to be Crack Cocaine and a concealed weapon. Arrested in this case was 32 year old Xavier Winston. he was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, resisting an officer and driving with a revoked license. Winston will also be facing several outstanding charges as well. He was jailed under a $15,000 bond. Demetric Micheaux who owned the vehicle was charged with Trafficking Fentanyl and selling or delivering a Controlled substance. His bond was set at $20,000. 25 year old Tashauna Ikerd was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was given a $2,000 bond.
