The Burke County School Board has approved the school systems budget for next year which totals 18.5 million dollars. That budget increase is 2.2 million dollars more than before. The school board worked with the Burke County Commissioners on reaching the budget which the two groups say will solidify their mission of educating the children of Burke County.
