The North Carolina National Guard will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new regional readiness center at 5515 Western Avenue in Morganton on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 11:30 a.m. The campus will include three buildings totaling 66,000 square feet on 38 acres.
The facility will serve the 630th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, the 1451st Transportation Company and the 626th Maintenance Company of the 113th Sustainment Brigade, the 878th Engineering Company of the 505th Engineer Battalion, and the 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade.
