Newton Police are asking for the public’s help locating a suspect in a weekend armed robbery. The Circle H gas station at 334 East 20th Street was robbed at 3:42 a.m. Saturday morning by a suspect described as a black male in his 20s or 30s, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10, weighing approximately 175 pounds. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black face mask, black hoodie, black pants and black shoes. Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect is asked to call 828-465-7430.
