The Town of Valdese will continue its Family Friday Nights Summer Concert Series from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Aug. 25 at Temple Field behind the Old Rock School. The free concert will feature The Super 60s. Concessions are available for purchase with proceeds funding various civic groups in Valdese.
The Norman B. Coley Foundation is partnering with the City of Conover to host Normfest, a free community event featuring live music, food trucks, entertainment for children and much more. NormFest begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25 at the Norman B. Coley Amphitheater at Conover City Park. The live bands will be Big Deal Band, Spazmatics and 20 Ride, followed by fireworks at 10:30 p.m.
