The Appalachian Regional Commission has announced approval of a $513,425 grant for Caldwell County’s Evergreene Industrial Park in Sawmills. The grant funding will be used to extend water and sewer lines to the 30-acre site, which is envisioned to ultimately include five 50,000 square foot building pads. In addition to ARC funds, local sources will provide $513,425, bringing the total project funding to $1,026,850.
