The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services has made changes to the Strong Schools Toolkit. Catawba County Public Health announced that contact tracing is no longer required, and students exposed to Covid 19 will not be excluded from school for a quarantine period as long as they have no symptoms. Students who are Covid positive or have Covid like symptoms will continue to be excluded from school. For more information go to covid19.ncdhhs.gov
