26-year-old Austin Neece was arrested last week after officers say he dropped a chainsaw and fled on foot when he saw them near a residence on Highway 18 in Connelly Springs. Investigators say they also found drugs and reported stolen items connected to him after a search. He was taken into custody and served with outstanding charges before being placed in jail under a no bond order and an additional $5,000 bond. more charges are expected in the case.
