Celebrate Independence Day in Lenoir, NC!

The City of Lenoir is hosting Independence Day events this Friday and Saturday to celebrate the birth of the United States of America.

July 4th Celebration in Downtown Lenoir

Friday, July 4, 2025 | 10:00 am to noon in Downtown Lenoir

Come to Downtown Lenoir from 10:00 am to noon on Friday July 4, 2025, to show off your red, white, and blue; honor the Declaration of Independence; and enjoy a patriotic brass band concert.

July 4th in Downtown Lenoir Schedule

·         10:00 AM: Patriotic Promenade – dress up in your favorite red, white, and blue outfits and come stroll around Downtown Lenoir.

·         10:30 AM: Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) Program at the Charters of Freedom

o   Boy Scouts Pledge of Allegiance

o   Program by Tucker’s Barn Chapter of the DAR

o   Proclamation by Mayor Joe Gibbons

·         11:00 AM: Brass Band Concert at the Downtown Stage ending with the Star Spangled Banner

City of Lenoir Independence Day Celebration

Saturday, July 5, 2025 | 6:30 to 10:00 pm at Mulberry Recreation Center

The City of Lenoir Parks and Recreation Department is hosting an Independence Day Celebration and fireworks show at Mulberry Recreation Center on Saturday, July 5, from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

There will be a foam party, deejay, cornhole, and ladder ball. Kona Ice will be selling snow cones and Waterlife Church will host several food trucks in the church parking lot. The fireworks show starts around 9:30 pm.

Parking is available around Waterlife Church, CubeSmart, and Quest4Life in the old shopping mall parking lot. The public may also park in any other public parking areas around the park that are available.

The City of Lenoir Police Department will have a large presence on site to provide safety for attendees.
