3 people are dead in a Burke County shooting. The Burke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a triple murder. Officers from Avery County assisted in responding to an address on Rhododendron Run in Newland after a 911 call. 56 year old Polly Ann Keller was found dead at the scene, 32 year old Jeremy Dean Clark and 33 year old Anthony Simon Franklin both died while being transported to the hospital. Early investigation indicates a domestic situation where 2 of the 3 individuals fired shots. The investigation will continue, and the results will be shared with the District Attorney’s Office.
