CONOVER – A fatal collision involving a motorcycle and pickup truck shut down traffic for nearly two hours on Rifle Range Rd. while the NC State Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
Twenty-one-year-old Gregory Allen Propst was fatally injured when a pickup truck collided with the Harley Davidson motorcycle he was reportedly riding.
The reported driver of the truck, fifty-eight-year-old Eddie Huffman allegedly failed to yield to the right of way while attempting to turn left onto Rifle Range Road from a private driveway yesterday (Sept 22) at 6:15 p.m. The driver of the truck was no injured and has been charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle, according to the press release from the NC State Highway patrol.
