Drive-In COVID Testing Will No Longer Be Offered at the Catawba County Health Department

HICKORY, NC – – MAR 27, 2023 According to a press release from Catawba County, PCR testing that has been done in the Parking lot of The Catawba County Health Department will end this month due to the low number of people being tested — and state funding changes. Catawba County Public Health officials say they will continue to provide free — at-home — COVID-19 rapid tests, which will be available at the front desk during regular business hours.  There are also numerous locations in the area that provide the free tests as well.  For those locations you can log onto the North Carolina Health and Human Resources Website.
