A man was killed after being struck by two SUVs Thursday night at around 8:13 p.m. near Wilkesboro Boulevard and Hibriten Drive in Lenoir according to reports to Deshon Chester, 35 of Lenoir, was attempting to cross the roadway and standing in the turn lane when he was struck by the first vehicle. The impact sent Chester into the eastbound Lanes of Wilkesboro Boulevard where he was struck by the second vehicle. Caldwell County EMS pronounced Chester dead at the scene. No charges have been filed.
