On Monday the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office announced that on May 14th, Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested and charged two individuals in connection with a breaking and entering investigation.
Randy Mitchell Beard W/M, 45, was charged with:
· Breaking and Entering
· Larceny After Breaking and Entering
Beard is currently beig held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $30,000 secured bond for the listed charges. His first court appearance was May 18, 2026.
Jennifer Ann Barlow W/F, 44, of Hiddenite, was charged with:
· Breaking and Entering
· Larceny After Breaking and Entering
· Possession of Methamphetamine
· Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
· Resisting a Public Officer
Barlow is currently being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $58,000 secured bond for the listed charges. Her first court appearance was May 18, 2026.
