Approximately 40 employers and partners will participate in the Alexander County Career and Resource Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 12 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the East Taylorsville Baptist Church gymnasium at 644 1st Ave Drive SE. The event is designed to help those displaced by the closure of Mitchell Gold Bob Williams, or anyone else looking for a new job. Many of the participating employers will be prepared to make job offers on the spot, with some offering sign-on bonuses up to $7,000.
